Ftatateeta (Flora Robson) was Cleopatra’s faithful Nubian servant in the 1945 movie with Vivien Leigh as Cleopatra. Flora Robson played a wide variety of character parts in a fifty year career in the movies: some of her many looks are displayed in the chameleons section. And no I don’t have a clue how to pronounce Ftatateeta.
Flora Robson also appeared on-screen in yellowface as the Dowager Empress Tzu-Hsi in 55 Days at Peking.
