Kanchi (Jean Simmons) was a minor role in this movie about British nuns attempting to establish a religious community in the Himalayas and finding their internal demons to be the biggest problem.
Jean Simmons did not wear a full wig for this role: this is her own hair at the front with a fall added from her crown (as can be seen in the final two images).
George Blackler was the (uncredited) makeup artist.
