Hearts Afire focused on relationship between a conservative Senatorial assistant and Gorgie Anne Lahti (Markie Post), a liberal journalist. In the episode ‘Fat Like Me’ Georgie decided to pose as an overweight woman for a magazine piece on the burdens of heavyset women in America. There was of course a catch – she had to wear the fat suit twenty-four hours a day for a week.
