










Overblown, over-hyped, over-long and gimmicky (was there any dramatic reason – as in Spider say – for these multiple characters?): still its heart was in the right place so that must explain all those Golden Globes. Diatribe over.
Whatever, it had some nice makeups: Meryl Streep as a Rabbi and a ghostly Ethel Rosenberg; Emma Thompson as the Angel of America, Nurse Emily and a homeless woman (though this last is only seen in very dim lighting).
J. Roy Helland was makeup and hair designer; Joseph A. Campayno was key makeup; Kelly Gleason was makeup artist; John Caglione Jr was makeup artist (Al Pacino).
