In this wonderful movie about moviemaking Barbara Hershey played the actress Nina Franklin: as Nina she is seen made-up to play a war-widow (both middle-aged and elderly) in the movie-within-the-movie. Early in the movie she spoofs her screen husband asking for his autograph while in her old lady makeup and then she falls into the sea and is rescued by a fugitive who is shocked as she removes her makeup.
Ken Chase was the makeup designer and Tom Lucas was makeup artist on the movie.
