Pièges de stars: For this French fakeover show Rebecca Hampton (an actress from a French soap) was transformed into a cold, authoritarian army officer interviewing some unsuspecting punter who having been asked to come to an army base was told they were being considered for a secret mission. Rebecca’s transformation involved a prosthetic nose, fake teeth, coloured contact lenses, glasses and a wig. Entertainment Tonight: Vanessa Minnillo went undercover in a fat suit as a 350-pound woman to get a ‘reality check’ on the everyday prejudices facing America’s weight-challenged women. She followed this up with an ‘Ugly Betty’ investigation. Rob Hall (Almost Human) was responsible for the makeup and I’m grateful to him for allowing me to use this image of the fat Vanessa; Jonathan Fuller (Monster Asylum) sculpted the appliance.
