Skin Deep was a reality TV programme that had Anita Roddick (creator of The Bodyshop) ‘finding out’ what its like to be fat, old and homeless. It was better than most of the genre: the homeless episode where she slept rough in London for four nights was the best but the fat episode was marred by the ‘And how does it work when you have sex?’ type comments.
Unfortunately, I blithely sat through this episode totally unaware the VCR was not running so all I have are these publicity stills. And Discovery have not rerun it: although they repeat everything else into the ground.
