Catherine went through husbands. Theresa Russell had the role of the chameleon who got rid of a succession of husbands.
The different looks were not that different apart from the wigs and I remember her expressing disappointment in interviews at the time that they had cut back on the planned transformations. After setting the stage with a couple of looks to quickly despatch rich husbands Theresa spent most of the movie looking remarkably like Theresa Russell.
