In ‘Vitas Mortis’ D’Argo overhears stories about an old Luxan named Nilaam and determines to find her. When the crew find her Nilaam (Melissa Jaffer) turns out to be on the verge of death and needs D’Argo’s help to perform the ‘Ritual of Passing’ to make her final ascension to a higher plane. The results (as always in Farscape) are unexpected: instead of dying Nilaam (Anna Lise Phillips) is rejuvenated and that’s when the trouble starts.
Melissa Jaffer returned to Farscape as Utu-Noranti Pralatong: initially a recurring-guest role then a regular crew-member.
