Kimara Cretak was a member of the Romulan Senate during part of the Dominion War, and she was also the Romulan representative to Deep Space 9. Although she was a firm supporter of the Romulans’ alliance with the Federation and the Klingons, Federation Section 31 plotted to remove Cretak so that a Federation operative could join the Romulan Continuing Committee. intended to assassinate Chairman Koval. Doctor Bashir unwittingly set her up, thinking he was warning her; she was arrested and brought before the Committee. Cretak was dismissed from the Senate and probably imprisoned for treason, if not executed.
Kimara Cretak appeared in three episodes of Deep Space Nine; in the first two she was played by Megan Cole but in the third episode, featuring her entrapment and trial, she was played by Adrienne Barbeau.
