In the two-part Deep Space Nine episode ‘The Maquis’ Sakonna (Bertila Damas) was a Vulcan member of the Maquis who attempted to get a good deal on an arms shipment from Quark. She later participated in the kidnapping of Gul Dukat from Deep Space Nine, unsuccessfully attempting a mind meld on him. She was captured by Commander Benjamin Sisko, Doctor Bashir and Constable Odo when they rescued Dukat.
