There have now been three movies made based on the Sams series of children’s books each featuring Christine Urspruch as the loveable Das Sams.

Birger Laube was the special effects makeup artist and Tatjana Luckdorf the makeup artist on Das Sams: I presume they also worked on Das Sams in Gefahr and the more recent movie.
