Cavemen: I assumed from the premise of Cavemen that there would be an absence of cavewomen from the show, so Heather the ‘hottie’ cavewoman (Kim Director) was a pleasant surprise. I’m grateful to makeup artist Corinna Liebel for the image of Kim as Heather. Corinna described the makeup as an interesting and rare instance where a combination of prosthetic and beauty makeup was required. The silicone forehead prosthetic and eyebrows were provided by Tony Gardner.
The Chronicle: in the episode ‘Pig Boy’s Big Adventure’ a ‘savage simian’, called Monica (Lizette Carrion), takes refuge under a child’s bed, Pig Boy learns that he like Monica is a ‘manimal’ – the product of a mad scientists experiments. The ‘savage simian’ was designed by SBFX and the makeup was applied by Michael Del Rossa, Bryan Smith & Dan Uebel.
