In this movie, Evey Hammond (Natalie Portman) is detained by the secret police in a totalitarian post-World War III Britain. While under interrogation her head is shaved on-screen; in her cell she discovered a hidden prison diary, left by a previous detainee Valerie. She is rescued by the enigmatic V and joins the resistance, but is V a terrorist or a freedom fighter: totalitarian repression (or ugly occupations) tend not to engender a beautiful resistance.
Paul Engelen is key makeup artist; Jeremy Woodhead is key hair stylist.
Further information will follow after the movie’s release.
