Despite being based on an interesting book, this is sheer crud. It comes across as some malformed offspring of Bride of Frankenstein and Back to the Future – there’s even a car. Adding to the general classiness, it features Catheine Rabett as Elizabeth – as an actress, she was best-known as a former girl-friend of prince Andrew. But I quite liked her electrodes.
