Julie Walker (Mindy – now more often known as Melinda – Clarke) is killed in a motorbike accident. Her boyfriend brings her back with some zombie gas from his father’s military research base but the results are not quite as he desired. Julie has a ravenous appetite and only pain helps to keep it at bay: throughout the movie she keeps adding what can best be described as body-jewellery.
As Maltin says it’s a tragic love story with imaginative effects. It’s also a laugh.
