Queen Elizabeth I, a beautiful lady-in-waiting, a daring adventurer ( in those days – the 1930s I mean – all adventurers were daring) and the Spanish Armada: I guess that says it all. Flora Robson played Elizabeth and reprised the role in The Sea Hawk.
Perc Westmore did the makeup for The Sea Hawk but I don’t know which makeup artist worked on Fire Over England: if anyone knows the makeup credits for this movie please email me.
