To coincide with the release of Monster, Boulevard Berlin published a photospread showing the uglification of actress Mariella Aherns.
Jürgen Fischer was the makeup artist: he had previously made Nina Bott fat to coincide with the release of Shallow Hal. Jürgen Fischer has no IMDb entry but I understand that he is Chief Makeup Artist at Müncher Kammerspiele.
