Nadeshda Brennicke was nominated for a Deutsche Fernsehpreis for her performance.
It took three hours of prosthetics application to transform the normally petite Nadeshda into Walli. Birger Laube (Starcrest Media) & Gregor Eckstein were the special makeup effects artists; Alexander Struff & Heidi Moser-Neumayr were makeup artists
