Julie Walker (Mindy – now known as Melinda – Clarke) is killed in a motorbike accident. Her boyfriend brings her back with some zombie gas from his father’s military research base but the results are not quite as he desired. Julie has a ravenous appetite and only pain helps to keep it at bay: throughout the movie she keeps adding what can best be described as ‘body-jewellery’.
As Maltin says it’s ‘a tragic love story with imaginative effects’. It’s also a laugh.
