The role of Angela (Elena Perino) is a very small part in the movie – with barely one scene to establish her rebellious teenage credentials before she is injured in a motorcycle accident. Thereafter, apart from some flickering eyelids, she just lies there.
It’s a tough life begining an acting career. In her first role where her character had a name, not only did Elena Perino start off looking decidedly unglamorous as a mingy teenager but she then had her head shaved to play Angela in hospital after her head injury.
Maurizio Silvi and Whitney James were the makeup artists; Mauro Tamagnini was the hairstylist.
